I’m a big fan of a neutral outfit, no matter the season. Paired with the right accessories I think white or any other neutral can be worn year round. The key to styling a neutral fall outfit is to mix textures and prints into the outfit while keeping them all the same tone. For instance, the outfit I am wearing here the items are all either white, cream, tan, or slightly darker tan/brown. A short range of colors keeps it simple. Then, by pairing different textures & prints like the chunky knit cardigan (use code lauren04 for 20% off), felt hat, and snake slides it adds some dimension to the outfit. And of course I always like to top off any outfit with some gold jewelry and sunglasses.
So just to recap here are some tips to take with you when styling your own neutral fall outfit this season:
Keep the tones of the colors the same
Incorporate different textures to help give the outfit dimension (i.e. chunky knit with white denim, felt hat, wool scarf, etc)
Add some detail to your outfit by layering dainty gold necklaces, earrings, or rings
Add a print to mix things up (but keep the color tones the same still)
I’m wearing the mystic moon necklace and the mystic cross choker both by Astrid & Miyu.
My shoes are a couple seasons old from ASKA Collection but these Steve Madden ones are just as cute and also on sale!
What do you guys think? Will you try a neutral color palette for your next fall look?
