This week has been the most beautiful fall week EVER. I honestly forgot how absolutely gorgeous fall weather can be – especially when the sun is shining. Because the weather has been so gorgeous I’ve been able to get away with wearing outfits like this one. Showing a *little* leg didn’t kill me the day these pictures were taken because everything else was covered up so I felt comfortable. As the weather cools down you can add thicker tights and a big chunky scarf to outfits like this one to make it more do-able for lower temps.
As you probably already know if you follow me on Instagram, I love over the knee (OTK) boots this time of year (and all winter really) because they are so versatile. You can wear them with so many different outfits, I even used to wear them to work when I worked in an office in San Diego. I made sure to pair them with black skinny pants and big sweaters which made them work appropriate.

The ones I am wearing are the Stuart Weitzman ‘lowland’ boots and are currently on major sale over at Shopbop! I’ve had mine for three years now and they are still in excellent condition, especially for how much I wear them, so they are definitely worth the investment if you are looking into it. On the other hand, so many other brands make similar styles so you can get the look without breaking the bank. This pair is a dupe for the ones I am wearing and they look great they just might not hold up as much over time is all.
