Happy Monday – or in other words, happy week of Thanksgiving! For all of you who work in the corporate world this usually means a short week for you! Woop woop! That was me not too long ago but my weeks look a little different now and I’m learning to ‘go with the flow’. Trying to anyhow 😉

Yesterday we had planned to take some outfit photos downtown Cleveland before we drove an hour south to for a family get together but lo and behold – RAIN! Always rain. It rains a lot more than I remember here in Ohio lol. I was super bummed because I had gotten everything together and really needed to get some content shot for this week.

But, life wanted to teach me a lesson I think. After driving for a little while the rain had stopped and we found the cutest little road called Lovers Lane. Of course we turned down and it ended up being the cutest little street to take photos on. So, moral of the story is – sometimes you just have to let go of your expectations and go with the flow. And sometimes things end up better than you had planned this way.

I found this sweater on a quick run to the mall the other day and instantly fell in love! It comes in seven colors and is under $50 – I love the light pink, mustard, and olive color just as much.

I’ve also been kind of stuck and these jeans and booties together. I wore them both to a birthday party of Friday but paired it with a gray t-shirt and a leather moto jacket. Such an easy combo and you can switch out the top to pretty much anything you feel like!

I found this gray beret at a vintage store in my old neighborhood when we were living in San Diego but this one is identical! I love the way a beret can completely transform your outfit!
