Hi babes! Happy Friday – we made it! I’ve been so excited to share this outfit with you guys ever since we shot it earlier this week because I could basically LIVE in this look. In fact I basically DO live in a version of this look most days. Blazer, mom jeans, flats, and some sort of cropped top. I love how the blazer elevates the look and makes it feel a little more classy too.
Also, if you guys follow me on Instagram you might remember me posting about these shoes I found at Target a month or so ago. On trend, under 25 bucks, and they come in black too. Highly recommend, especially if you love flats as much as me!
DSTLD was so kind and sent me these jeans and blazer to style for a blog post. I was so excited about this because I’ve been a fan of theirs for awhile but didn’t own any of their items yet. Let me tell ya, as soon as I slipped these clothes on it was a match made in heaven. The blazer feels V high end guys. You can also see how it classed up another look of mine the other night when I styled it with a band tee here. And the jeans – mom jean heaven! I am a sucker for a high waisted pair of thick denim. Add rips to the knees? Ugh – even better. Anyone else feel the same about denim? I feel you can never have enough. From styling your denim with a cropped t-shirt, a bodysuit, chunky sweaters – the options are limitless!
Oh, and before I go I wanted to tell you guys a quick back story on the crop top i’m wearing under the blazer here. So I actually WON this top from one of those Instagram contests FOUR years ago now! The brand is an LA based brand called AGAIN collection and I was so excited to win because I was and still am a huge fan of the brand. The funny thing though? I’ve never actually worn this top until now! I’ve tried it on tons of times and come up with multiple outfits but it never felt ‘right’. But when I was getting dressed the other day it’s like it jumped out at me and I knew I wanted to style my look with this top. Moral of the story – keep those classic, quality pieces in your closet because it might just be the item you reach for next!
