Have you guys heard of Sumissura? I was introduced to them last year (you can see me wearing their clothing here and here) and I gotta say, I’m all about the custom situation they offer – especially since it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Naturally, I wanted to share a couple of new items I’m loving from them at the moment.

First of all let me just say that the way things work with social media these days everyone seems to buy and wear the same items. That can get a little…boring. No? Anyhow, that’s why it’s so refreshing to me to be able to add some customization to my clothing. Not only in size, but maybe I’ll switch up the lining or add different colored buttons or thread. The opportunity to make something unique allows your personal style to come out. 

For the two Sumissura pieces I am showing you here I went with the linen blazer again (because I mean, how can you not love a linen blazer) and a chic little white dress. I know summer is basically over but in my opinion it’s never too late in the year to wear white and I knew the fit and quality would allow me to wear the dress for years to come.

How I styled my customized blazer:

To me, a blazer is the perfect closet staple to transition your wardrobe to fall. I think they are classic and timeless but they are also a huge trend right now as well. I paired mine with a pair of my favorite Levi’s, a body-suit, and some gold accessories. I’ve also tried it on and love it over cut off shorts with a t-shirt and flats.

How I styled my customized little white dress:

Because I don’t ever think there is a wrong time to wear white, I styled this little white dress as a ‘fall’ look. I simply added one of my favorite moto jackets (have had it for a couple of years now and still obsessed) along with some knit booties to give off more of a fall vibe. This dress could easily be worn in summer with some cute lace up sandals and a jean jacket as well.

What I love most about the customization on this dress is the fit. I didn’t go crazy with patterns or colors but I wanted something that would fit me the way I like. With a lot of my clothes I end up having to go get them tailored anyhow so I love that with this it was already done before getting shipped to my house.
