Ladies, it’s not too late in the summer to hop on the off the shoulder trend. In fact, I think the late summer months are the perfect time to rock this look.  My essentials when wearing an off the shoulder top? Click ‘Read More’ to find out!

1) A deep faux tan – The tan I have in these photos was created with the St. Tropez dark bronzing mousse. I love this stuff for a quick tan! Also – the photos were taken BEFORE I washed it off. Sometimes I like to wear it for a full day even though you really only have to leave it on for 4-8 hours but I just love how it looks before I wash it off!

2) Highlight those shoulders – I talked about this before with the Moroccan Oil drops but in this photo I just took my makeup brush and added some highlighter to my shoulders and collar bone. I used the shades ‘summer’ and ‘tourmaline’ for the Anastasia Sun Dipped Glow Kit. But any highlighter you have on hand would do the trick!

3) Layered gold necklaces – There’s just something I love so much about layered gold necklaces right now, especially with an off the shoulder top or even with a plain white t-shirt! And the good thing is you don’t have to break the bank to get this look. Forever 21 has a bunch to choose from and you can mix and match depend on your mood. My necklaces are from; The round clasp choker called the ‘Chloe Choker’ is from Love Tatum, the heart that says ‘Rosé’ (the other side says ‘Sushi’, how cute is that?!) is from Océanne (a local Cleveland brand), and the long crescent pendant necklace is from Gorjana!

And PS I found this adorable top at a local Cleveland boutique (or should I say THE local Cleveland boutique because really it’s THAT good) called Haven in the super charming area of Chagrin Falls. If you’re local and haven’t been there – trust me you need to set aside some time to go check it out! I literally wanted to play dress up with the entire store!
