Clearly I don’t follow the ‘fashion rule’ of not wearing white after Labor Day. I mean, I feel like that rule (and all fashion rules, really) are kind of meant to be broken, no? I’ve had this conversation with a friend recently and I feel that if you genuinely like something and feel good in it, then rock it. People may look at me and wonder what the heck I am wearing sometimes but I choose to just ignore those people. As long as I feel comfortable & confident then it doesn’t really matter.

On another note, the fall weather here in Southern California has been a little slow coming so far this year. I am ready to bundle up in chunky knits, boots, and hats – anyone else? It surprisingly gets fairly cool here in San Diego especially at night. I will usually need to wear a light jacket and sometimes I reach for a hat and gloves too! I need to stock up on some cute winter clothes for River as well. If anyone has suggestions for cute winter baby clothes please let me know!
