When you don’t know what to wear I’ve always found it best to revert back to what you know and love – to a point that is. Now, if you’re going out for cocktails with your girls and what you know and love is your house robe and slippers, then by all means maybe you need a night in. What I mean is, take it back to the basics. As you may have seen me state over on Instagram, there are three closet staples I’ll never get sick of; Levi’s, lace camisoles, and leopard print. And listen, I know I’ve been making a strong case for these jeans for well over a year now but I guess that should tell you something. I own the same style in three washes and could definitely make room in my closet for more. Feel free to DM me or comment with sizing questions.
Vintage Summer Style
Hi guys! Phew, it’s been a minute! As some of you may have noticed I’ve taken a little blogging hiatus. I started working full time again in February and in all honesty it requires a lot of my time and at the end of the day I didn’t have the energy to come home and chat about fashion. But, the good news is I’m back! 🙌🏼 I have a *little* more free time (okay, not really but I’m gonna pretend that I do) and am going to try to ease into posting 1-2 x per week again.
Ancient Retreats | Seaside, FL
About a week and a half ago I was lucky enough to go on a little beach getaway with the Ancient Nutrition team and Dr. Josh Axe. If you guys aren’t familiar you can check out his site here – you will be amazed at all the cool health and wellness related stuff you’ll find there. He also has a product line called Ancient Nutrition – and if you’ve stepped foot inside a health food store lately you’ve probably seen some of his collagen or bone broth protein products. I’ve been using 1 scoop of the Ancient Nutrition Multi Collagen protein in my coffee every morning which is beneficial in keeping you hair, skin, & nails looking their best. It also provides join support – you just can’t go wrong!
Chunky Knit Sweater & Glam Jewelry
These photos were actually taken a week ago today – on my birthday last week! This top was sent to me by Misha Vaidya and I am LOVING it – she really has such beautiful pieces – you can check it out here. It totally fits my personal style – simple and classic but with a little flare.
Roses are Red
I pretty much lived in this outfit all weekend – or some variation of it anyhow. My rose t-shirt is only $12 you guys! I will definitely be rocking this all summer long!
Added the cutest bow choker to this look for a little contrast against the white t-shirt!I always have to have a black cardigan in my closet – like always! I love this one because it has a little dip ‘v’ in the top back which is a cute detail and it is lightweight enough to layer over clothes for warmer weather.
Winter Whites
Who else is SO excited it is Friday?! I have plans to relax at home alll weekend long and I can’t wait! If you can’t tell I am kind of obsessed with OTK boots and little dresses lately! It is honestly one of the most comfortable ways to dress right now! These boots are the Stuart Weitzman ‘lowland’ – definitely pricey but well worth the investment in my opinion. I wore them all fall/winter last season and it is looking like I am going to do the same this year! Here is another similar pair for just $65 – oh, and I love these too!
