Since it’s an ACTUAL crisp 13 degrees outside right now I thought I would take it back to warmer days. These photos are from my trip to San Diego last month and being snowed in has me daydreaming about warmer weather. When I look at these photos it seems like SO much time has passed, but its actually only been a month! I guess the holidays will do that to you. I shared this leopard print romper on Instagram during my trip but have been meaning to do a blog post talking about animal print for you guys.
November | Fall Style
Hi guys! I can’t believe it’s already November 1st. How in the world did October fly by that quickly? Actually, I’m pretty sure this entire year has flown by faster than ever as well. It feels like it was just a couple of months ago that I moved all the way from San Diego to Cleveland, when in reality it’s going on 6 months. Crazy to think we’ve been here almost half a year.
With that being said – I was FINALLY unpacking some boxes the other day when I came across the snake print top I am wearing in these photos. I got this top from Urban Outfitters around the time I started my job in San Diego, and I was there for about 8.5 years so that means the shirt is old AF. This top hung in my closet for years and occasionally I would feel inspired to wear it but there were a definitely a few years that went by without me touching it. Flash forward to last week when I came across this top again and I was able to see it in a new light. I thought it would be super cute with a fall color palette, and snake (all animal print really) is super huge this season so I knew it would be easy to come up with a stylish fall outfit with this shirt.
Winter Gingham
Living in San Diego comes with a lot of perks – one of them is the weather. I can’t lie, sometimes I miss the snow and want to bundle up in chic layers but I am soaking up the good weather while I can. This past weekend we had a little bit of some warmer than usual weather which was so nice! I decided to wear this cute gingham dress with some metallic booties and a moto jacket to give it more of a ‘fall’ feel.
I can totally see this dress with some cute sandals, a sun hat, and a straw bag for summer too! The perfect transition piece. And for you girls in areas where you can’t get away with a dress in January – you could always pair it with some thick tights and over the knee boots!
