When you don’t know what to wear I’ve always found it best to revert back to what you know and love – to a point that is. Now, if you’re going out for cocktails with your girls and what you know and love is your house robe and slippers, then by all means maybe you need a night in. What I mean is, take it back to the basics. As you may have seen me state over on Instagram, there are three closet staples I’ll never get sick of; Levi’s, lace camisoles, and leopard print. And listen, I know I’ve been making a strong case for these jeans for well over a year now but I guess that should tell you something. I own the same style in three washes and could definitely make room in my closet for more. Feel free to DM me or comment with sizing questions.
The Best Levi’s Styles | Friday Favorites
Guys, if you haven’t noticed #IHaveThisThingWithDenim. I wanted to do a Friday favorites based around some of the best Levi’s styles I’ve found. This is totally not sponsored by Levi’s, I just really love their denim.
There are a few things I typically look for in a pair of jeans. The first is that I like my jeans high waisted. If you’ve been watching my Insta Stories lately you know what I mean. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a few pairs of jeans from awhile back that aren’t high waisted that I will wear but more often than not I just feel more comfortable in high waisted jeans. You can tuck tops in easier, you can wear crop tops, they suck everything in, the list goes on.
Vintage Blazer
Hi, all! Happy Monday. We’re starting the week off a bit rainy and gloomy here in CLE but that’s what cold pizza leftovers are for, right?! We stopped by Angelo’s Pizza in Lakewood last night for their deep dish pizza and omg, so good. There’s also a darling little vintage shop right next door called Vintage Fashion CLE. Of course I had to pop in and take a look around – such good stuff.
It’s funny because I haven’t been wearing vintage as much lately but was actually wearing this vintage blazer at the time. I picked this blazer up last winter in California at a little thrift store up the street from our old house. It’s vintage Ralph Lauren and was only $10! If you’re not into thrifting, I get it – not everyone is – I linked a few similar blazers for you below. I have been rocking blazers in so many of my recent posts, I almost want to apologize but then I realize I truly just love blazers so no apology needed haha.
My New Favorite Jeans
I am a firm believe that you can never own too many pairs of jeans. And you definitely can’t own too many Levi’s – and no this isn’t sponsored by Levi’s at all lol. I went to Free People at Eton here in Cleveland the other day and found my new favorite pair of jeans! They took the classic Levi 501’s and made them with a skinnier leg…basically perfected them. I love the regular 501’s but I do prefer a more tapered leg so this is the perfect combo! You can click here to shop the exact style I am wearing – they do run a bit big so I recommend sizing down and the wash I got is called ‘can’t touch this’.
