Fall transition- SoCal Style. Fall is officially here & I couldn’t be happier! We are still lingering around in the upper 80’s and 90’s but there is hope for cooler temperatures yet!
It’s weird how sometimes you don’t know where you are headed but when you end up there you realize that was where you wanted to be all along….
Today was one of those days. Hot. Breezy. Beautiful. I mean it is seriously Summer already and we are not even in April yet. Fingers crossed this lasts because it’s really hard to have a bad day when the sun is shining and the palms are swaying in the breeze.
One place I knew I was headed for sure was my favorite Fro-Yo spot, but then afterwards just driving through some of my favorite little neighborhoods I happened upon this cute (okay maybe not all of you think a dirt alley is cute) alley and just had to explore a bit. It almost looked like private property from the street but we turned anyhow and voila. I found my favorite vine covered wall of green along with dirt and weed laden paths. I find it a bit magical how nestled in between gorgeous homes are these little pieces of un-touched beauty.

This jacket is one of the main reasons I love thrifting! I honestly can’t remember where or when I bought it, but I have had it for a few years now and it will never go out of style.
Also, I have been into silver jewelry more than ever over the past 6 months or so but lately I have been reverting back to my gold favorites. The chain ring on my left pointer ring is one of my favorite gold rings, and not just because of how awesome it is. I bought it while in NYC last Spring with my boy- therefore it has great memories attached to it as well!
As for the “FOX” ring this also has great memories attached to it! My best friend bought us these rings from Wildfox about a year or so back. She has the matching one that says WILD- it’s like the BFF necklaces, only way cooler and in ring form!
