If you guys have been following me for a while you know a couple of things are true; 1) I like to make a statement every once in a while and 2) I like pieces that are versatile. When I saw this tiger print slip dress I knew I had to have it. However, I couldn’t decide if I should get it in plain black or tiger print (which I obviously opted for).
Vintage Blazer
Hi, all! Happy Monday. We’re starting the week off a bit rainy and gloomy here in CLE but that’s what cold pizza leftovers are for, right?! We stopped by Angelo’s Pizza in Lakewood last night for their deep dish pizza and omg, so good. There’s also a darling little vintage shop right next door called Vintage Fashion CLE. Of course I had to pop in and take a look around – such good stuff.
It’s funny because I haven’t been wearing vintage as much lately but was actually wearing this vintage blazer at the time. I picked this blazer up last winter in California at a little thrift store up the street from our old house. It’s vintage Ralph Lauren and was only $10! If you’re not into thrifting, I get it – not everyone is – I linked a few similar blazers for you below. I have been rocking blazers in so many of my recent posts, I almost want to apologize but then I realize I truly just love blazers so no apology needed haha.
How to Style a Boyfriend Blazer
I’ve been a blazer fan for quite some time now and couldn’t be happier that the boyfriend blazer is having a huge moment this fall! I picked this one up in a bold red color which I thought was perfect to add a splash of color to my wardrobe. It comes in 6 different colors which I kind of feel like I need it in the ‘purple moss’ color too! I normally don’t wear a lot of red – last year I think the only red thing I wore was this red jumpsuit. So like I said on Instagram, when I do wear it – I make it count!
Pink + Gray Days
It’s hump-day – not sure how it is only Wednesday, feels like it should be Friday already! We have our birthing classes tonight which I actually enjoy going to because we are learning SO much about the birthing process – sometimes a little too much! 😉
This dress I am wearing is from Urban Outfitters and is non-maternity. I sized up to a medium to account for the bump. it is super comfortable and easy to wear. I am tempted to order it in black too – would be so cute with some OTK boots and a leather jacket! I paired mine with my Citizen’s Mark blazer for a more business-chic look. You guys might remember me posting about this blazer earlier this year. It has worked its way into my wardrobe as one of those staples that you can throw on with ripped jeans, dresses, and everything in between!
