Spring Favorites

My dress/shirt/blazer combo is one of the most versatile pieces in my closet right now. I love that I can rock this as a dress or pair it with pants to wear it more as a shirt. This one is sold out but I’ve linked a bunch of other ones for you below! I am especially loving this one and this sleeveless one is perfect for summer as well!

This Chloe bag is one of my favorite bags in my closet. I’ve thought about getting rid of it and then every time I take it out I am reminded why I bought it in the first place! I did link some similar looking bags for you below and LOVE this one for $25! read more

Black for Spring?

FullSizeRender-22 copy 5

Guys, I would do a spring look in black. Anyone else love wearing black all year ’round? I do find myself gravitating towards more blush and light camel tones for spring but I always go back to black – you just can’t go wrong. I love that this dress from NA-KD Fashion [get 20% off their site with code ‘blameit20] has the crochet detailing which makes it totally spring appropriate. FullSizeRender-22 copy 2FullSizeRender-22 copy 3 FullSizeRender-22 copy 4 FullSizeRender-22 copy 6 FullSizeRender-22 copy

I also decided to try it without the belt – which I almost like more. At first I thought it would look to baggy and not have enough shape but now looking back at the photos I really love the simplicity it lends. read more

Lace Favorites

Chloe hudson bag

I am having a little love affair with lace tops lately. Well, who am I kidding? This is nothing new, I have always had a thing for a sheer lace top with a little bralette underneath. You feel me?! This one had me at hello! Especially since I had been recently eyeing another one that was almost $200 – and this one was $24 so yeah, you do the math 😉

Gray, White, + Tan

I guess I have a thing for gray sweater dresses lately…haha, ya think?! I don’t know what it is but I just love gray and white together! I decided to pair this sweater dress with a blazer to add a little structure against the softness of the sweater dress. I think it would also be super cute with a leather jacket though!

This bag is the perfect size for those of you who don’t like to pack a lot when you are out and about. Lately with a little one I am so thankful for smaller purses where I can just throw my phone, keys, a lipstick and I am good to go. Everything else can go in his diaper bag 😉 read more

Not So Basic, Basics…

Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

I think we all need those items in our closet that are our go-to pieces when we literally having “nothing” to wear! For me, that is usually a pointy black boot, black skinnies (love these because they have a shiny coating!), and a white top. I love to mix in a little gray or some stripes from time to time and of course top it off with my favorite gold jewelry of the moment. Having some unique basics in your closet to reach for make getting dressed that much easier because you have a base to build off of. read more

Mommy Mode

new2Wow, what a month! My little guy turned 1 month old last week and I can’t believe how fast time has gone. Before I blink he will be 1 year old! I never imagined that becoming a mother could fill your heart with SO much LOVE for one little human being! It definitely changes you in ways I could have never imagined – all for the good!

We have been having a LOT of rain here in SoCal so when the sun came out yesterday I jumped at the opportunity to take a little walk (and take some photos not gonna lie haha!). As soon as we started taking pictures the little munchkin woke up and started crying…typical, right?! I think he just wanted to make sure he made an appearance on the blog as well 😉 read more
