My dress is non-maternity which I love because I know it will be something I can wear after my pregnancy (although I sized 1 size up to account for the bump so we shall see!) and it is under $30 – such a steal! It also comes in a chic blush color that I might get for after the baby 😉 Also, you guys probably saw these shoes in one of my other recent posts – they are $40 and look exactly like the Stuart Weitzman ‘nudist’ heels!
Out with the Old
With each new season I find it necessary to go through my closet and get rid of, or purge rather, many of the older items that I no longer wear and are just taking up space. One great way to still feel good about letting go of some of my old clothes (because, let’s be honest – sometimes I can be a hoarder when it comes to clothes!) is to donate them to a cause I am passionate about. Awhile back someone told me about the American Cancer Society (ACS) Discovery Shop which is a thrift store which supports the cancer society. Having lost people close to me from cancer I felt that this was a great way to rid myself of some of my old clothes and make room for the new stuff!
Leather Weather
Happy Tuesday loves! One thing I can always trust for fall is an all-black look topped off with a leather jacket. I bought this leather jacket last year from All Saints (splurge item!) I don’t believe they sell this exact style anymore but this one is really similar and this Blank NYC one is such a steal for under $100 and looks so luxe still – it also comes in 4 different colors, I am dying over the green one!
Also this sweater has easily become one of my favorites for fall already! It has super cute side tie details that I am obsessed with. You can’t see them as much in the photos but when you go to the product details you can really see how cute those details are.
ToteSavvy Diaper Bag Insert
From the time I found out I was pregnant I knew I didn’t want a traditional diaper bag. I personally couldn’t see myself carrying around a paisley print puffy diaper bag and figured I would have to spend hundreds of dollars to purchase one I really loved. I know what you carry your babies bottles and diapers around in is ultimately not of the utmost of important things when it comes to having a baby, however, if I am going to be carrying a bag around day in and day out I want it blend well with the rest of my wardrobe.
Bell Sleeves
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! This Monday marks the 31st week of my pregnancy! Things are starting to get super real around here 🙂 In all the best ways possible. Can’t lie though – pregnancy can be super rough on your body. I am just starting to really feel the effects a lot more now that I am in my third trimester!
I like to stay comfortable most days but occasionally I will still get dressed up while keeping my heels on the medium to lower side – much easier to walk in! These ones are from Zara and I am loving them lately. Also, this top from Make Me Chic is super fun yet comfortable which I love right now – not to mention it is on sale for $22! Also, you can score an extra 20% off as a first time customer on their site!
28 Week Bumpdate!
How far along? I am 28 weeks as of this past Monday! That marks the beginning of my THIRD trimester. Things are starting to get really real!
Maternity clothes? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The thing I wear the most in maternity clothes are maternity pants because to be frank, you can’t really squeeze your belly into those same old skinny jeans anymore. I love the pants that have a full band that come up and cover the entire belly. Keeps everything comfy and keeps the oil I slather on every morning in place for longer!
